“Best of Both World”: The Amalgamation of Fuzzy Delphi Method with Nominal Group Technique for Dengue Risk Prioritisation Decision-Making

Introduction. Dengue remains a public health threat. Clarifying the characteristics of future threats and prioritising intervention towards highest risk potential can help to control prevent dengue outbreaks. However, obtaining consensus from panels experts is certainly challenging due relative subjectivity experience. Therefore, this article incorporates fuzzy Delphi method (FDM) within nominal group technique (NGT) as multicriteria decision-making tool for (1) describing socioecological attributes (SEAs) with high causing outbreak (2) ranking those SEAs priorities intervention. Material Methods. Experts were recruited using purposive sampling technique. Informed consent was obtained before start study. The NGT process began an introductory presentation SEA by moderator, followed “silent generation.” Next, each participant provided information in round-robin fashion. Ideas collected moderator displayed publicly. All given ample time space contribute justify their ideas without interruption during discussion step yield agreeable characteristics. Ultimately, FDM incorporated voting ensure rigorous analysis. study approved ethical committee its commencement. Results.
